Remove Unimportant Emails From Dynamics – CRM Tidy

If your CRM tracks all your emails, then you should regularly delete any unimportant emails. 

It’s good practice to understand which emails are being stored in Dynamics (and are therefore visible)

It’s also good to delete emails which can take up a lot of (paid for) storage space in your system

How to delete unimportant emails from Dynamics

• Navigate to the Activities section of your system

• Select the view My Received Emails.
• Look through the list and select any emails which don’t need to be recorded in Dynamics. Things like
  • Spam
  • Internal emails not about work
  • Circulars
  • Newsletters etc
• You can select multiple emails by selecting an email and then pressing shift and clicking on an email further down the list.
• Click Delete on the command bar to remove the email from Dynamics
• Remember that if you delete an email from Dynamics, it won’t be deleted in Outlook.
  • You can safely delete emails from Dynamics which you might want to keep in Outlook, but aren’t related to any Contact or Accounts
