These updates are all about practical applications of AI to help get work done faster.
- Copilot can generate marketing text suggestions to help create content for new products. This feature is moving from public preview to general availability in November 2023.
- Copilot will aid with bank account reconciliations by improving transaction matching and providing explanations for proposed matches. This will reduce manual effort. Coming in November 2023.
Adapt faster with Power Platform
- Business Central is adding more Power Automate templates and simplifying the approval workflow experience. This aims to make it easier to automate processes. Coming in October 2023.
- Users will be able to analyze data directly in Business Central through queries, without needing to export data. This expands self-service data analysis capabilities. Coming in October 2023.

- New supply chain features will add efficiency, accuracy and flexibility to inventory and warehouse management:
- Availability overviews will provide real-time visibility into inventory levels, warehouse locations, and other factors affecting quantities available for sale or production. This aims to improve planning. Coming in October 2023.
- Business Central will suggest appropriate bins for put-away and picking based on rules and rankings. This aims to optimize warehouse workflows. Coming in October 2023.
- Handling recommendations for orders will aim to reduce shipment delays, minimize production stoppages, and improve customer satisfaction. Coming in October 2023.
- Intercompany postings will allow performing accounting tasks for multiple companies across separate Business Central environments. This eliminates manual data handling. Coming in October 2023.
- Financial data consolidation will enable consolidating data from companies in different Business Central environments without manual workarounds. Coming in October 2023.
- Approval workflows for intercompany transactions aim to increase oversight and reduce errors. Coming in October 2023.
