Mark wants to show you how to lessen the admin burden after a day on the road.
Mobile Note-Taking for Efficient Meetings
Hi Mark, I’m with AMS TV, coming to you on a cold January morning from Lookswood Services on the M6. Now, why am I here this morning? I’m meeting a client for an early morning six o’clock meeting. It’s the only time we could schedule it in the calendar.
Seamless Integration with CRM
But what’s really, really exciting and kind of amazing is that I’m going to use my mobile phone at the end of this meeting to make notes of the meeting that we’ve just had. Now, that’s because the CRM has already put that meeting into my calendar. It’s appeared on my phone automatically, so I’ve got it on the go. But actually, I can add notes to that meeting request, and it goes into the actual CRM system as well, and those notes are stored there for the future.
Empowering Salespeople with the Right Tools
Now, it works on my Android phone. It also works on iPhones or Windows phones. But what it means is that events like this show that your salespeople have got the right tools at hand. They don’t have to go through a VPN. They don’t have to open a laptop. They don’t have to do anything cumbersome like that because they’re not going to do it. Any kind of barrier to getting sales meetings and sales notes in place means that people won’t be using your CRM system. And when they’re not using it, your data quality goes downhill. You don’t know how much sales activity is really happening because your salespeople aren’t tracking it.
Importance of Data Tracking and CRM Usage
So, if you’ve got a team of five, ten, fifteen, fifty salespeople, and every day they’re not tracking their activity, your data’s rough, your information’s wrong, your sales pipeline is wrong, your conversion figures from appointments to proposals is wrong. And so, it’s a really, really big deal.
Conclusion: Enhancing Productivity and Accuracy
I just thought it’s worth mentioning. It’s very topical. I’m going to put some notes into my phone now, update this appointment, and I’ll already find it when I get back to the office to review it later on.
I’ll see you soon on the next AMS TV. Bye for now.
