I Use Salesforce. Why Should I Use Microsoft Dynamics?

Both Salesforce and Dynamics 365 are great systems, but we think Microsoft’s integrations make it the winner

If you already use Salesforce, why should you consider Microsoft Dynamics 365?

Salesforce is a great tool that has been around for a long time, and it was the first CRM to go cloud-based. Traditionally, Microsoft Dynamics 365 has been their biggest competitor. Both are great CRM systems.

We only work with Dynamics 365. We believe that using the Microsoft Dynamics 365 platform will help grow our business and help other businesses grow, as well. Through Microsoft Dynamics, you can integrate with all the Office applications, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook.

The Outlook integration is particularly great. When you consider the Microsoft-based systems you already use in your business, it makes more sense to stick with what you know. Microsoft Dynamics 365 is a business solution that has been tried and tested, and it is now cloud-based and affordable with flexible price points, depending on your needs.

Now, the model of Microsoft products is to use value-added resellers, such as ourselves, to push it to market. It is our job to make sure that we understand the requirements of what you want the system to do, both now and in the future as your business grows and changes. That might include

Perhaps you want to put some kind of client portal in there, so people can log in and have access to their restricted information. Microsoft Dynamics allows for many layers of functionality.

Microsoft Dynamics is perfect for people who want

  • a system that integrates with Microsoft applications,
  • a system that is cloud-based system instead of using servers, and
  • a system with updated technology to increase efficiency.

Through Microsoft Dynamics, you can automate processes and create workflows to help guide people through the system, or drag-and-drop ability to visually manage pipelines. These are all key things that All My Systems will include as part of your new Microsoft Dynamics system.

I hope that this comparison has been helpful. The thing to remember with CRM systems is that they are only as good as their implementation.

I often say, “A system that is implemented in one business, may be successful, but that same system may fail in another business.” Usually, the reason is due to lack of buy-in from the management team, or that the actual build process was not handled well.

Because CRM is about change management, it is important to make sure that everyone in the business understands why they are going through this process, feels included in the process, and actually adopts the system moving forward. All My Systems works with companies on this change management journey, to make sure CRM is a strategic tool to help grow the business and make it more effective in the future.
