Mark’s off to meet with a client struggling with their sales data to show them what the brave new world looks like
In this episode of AMS TV, I visited a client’s office. They have a team of a hundred people and several servers hosting their sales applications, databases, and spreadsheets.
I spoke with them about the challenges they face, such as accessing sales data outside the office. They rely on VPN and multiple steps to connect remotely, which frustrates their salespeople and leads to outdated information for management. However, there are cloud-based CRM solutions available now that can be tailored to their specific needs. It’s crucial to embrace the idea that data doesn’t have to be on-premises only.
With cloud systems, salespeople can access and update data on the go, check proposals and pipeline figures, and have multiple users logged in simultaneously.
