Technical Services supply engine cooling systems and components. They have over 30 years’ experience and a purpose-built manufacturing site with research & development facilities.
As Technical Services have grown, their systems haven’t always kept pace with the company. Sales data was kept in Excel and other fragmented systems. There was no clear way to track an enquiry from quotation stage to ordering, so valuable oversights were lost and follow up to enquiries could be slow.
It was time to get a customer relationship management system which could keep pace with their business, and Dynamics 365 fitted the bill.
Technical Services didn’t want a lengthy project and were focussed on getting the new system live quickly and to get staff confident using it.
Our solution mixed the speed of an off the shelf system with the flexibility of a custom built one. The aim was to get the new system up and running quickly, with little business impact.
The system included:
- A quick start of Dynamics 365 for sales and operations
- Integration with MailChimp so that customer data can be used in MailChimp email campaigns
- Website integration so that website enquires are automatically assigned as tasks for sales staff in the system
- Integration with Sage 50 for accounts
